This course package covers 4 valuable Qualifications, namely BS7671:2018 Requirements for Electrical Installations (18th Edition) , Level 2 Fundamental Inspection & Testing, Level 3 Award in Electrical Installation Inspection Testing, Certification and Reporting and Part P Building Regulations. Course 1: - BS7671:2018 - Requirements for Electrical Installations, IET Wiring Regulations - 18th Edition (3 Days)

This course makes learners familiar with the layout, content and application of the BS7671: 2018 (18th Edition regulations).

During this course, we cover the latest IET Wiring Regulations, Principles, Definitions, Characteristics, Safety, Selection and erection of equipment, Inspection and testing, Special Installations or Locations and Appendices.

To achieve this qualification learners are required to pass an open-book online exam. This exam is of 2-hours duration and has 60 multiple choice questions.

Course 2: - Level 2 Fundamental Inspection, Testing and Initial Verification (4 Day)

From this course learner will gain fundamentals knowledge and practical skills for inspection and testing of single-phase domestic installation.

Course content covers Requirement for Initial Verification, Safe Isolation, Completion of Document and Testing includes Inspection testing, continuity Testing, Insulation Resistance Testing, Polarity, Earth Fault Loop Impedance, and RCD Testing for single-phase Electrical Installation. 

To achieve this qualification, leaners are required to pass an open book online exam and a Practical assessment. The online exam is of 1-hour duration and has 30 multiple option questions.

Course 3: - Level 3 Award Electrical Installation Inspection Testing, Certification and Reporting (6 Day)

Throughout the course, learners enhance the skills for carrying out Initial Verification, Certification, Periodic Inspection & Testing of electrical installation.

This course covers the main two sections: 

A. Initial Verification 

This section is to make learners understand Initial Verification, Safe Testing and Commissioning of electrical installations, Completing the safe isolation of the electrical circuit & installation and the inspection of electrical installation before their being placed into service, testing before circuit are energized and energized installation and The completion of electrical installation certificates and associated documents.

B. Periodic Inspection 

This section is to make learners recognize all relevant Statutory and Non- Statutory regulation and guidance, understand the importance of conduction reporting and periodic inspection & testing, know how to use the testing equipment, and make them able to record the results.

To achieve this qualification, leaners are required to pass an open book online exam and a Practical assessment. The online exam is of 2-hours duration and has 60 multiple option questions.

Course 4: - Part P - Building Regulation ( 1 Day ) 

Part P or otherwise known as Level 3 Certificate in the Building Regulations for Electrical Installations in Dwellings (City & Guilds 2393) or EAL Level 3 Award In Approving Electrical Installation Work in Dwellings in Compliance with Building Regulations (EAL 600/7859/5) course is for practising electricians or similar tradesman such as Gas Engineers to help and improve their knowledge relating to the requirements for the installations in dwellings.

This course covers Building Regulations, Notifiable & Non-Notifiable building work, Enforcement - the Role of the building control service, and Approved Document (A- Structure, B- Fire Safety, E- Resistance to the passage of sound, F- Ventilation, M- Access to and use of buildings, P- Electrical Safety Dwellings, L1A, and L2B - Conservation of fuel and power).

To achieve this qualification, learners are required to pass an open-book online exam. The online exam is of 40 minutes duration and has 20 multiple choice questions.
