This qualification is designed for experienced electricians who have been working in the electrotechnical industry for at least 5 years and have minimum Level 2 qualification.
Course Overview |
The Experienced Worker Assessment (EWA) is a qualification for electricians who have been working in the industry for at least 5 years, but have not completed an industry apprenticeship or equivalent Level 3 NVQ qualification. The EWA is designed to assess your skills and knowledge in electrical installation, and to help you progress your career. This qualification is not suitable for new entrants to the electrotechnical industry, apprentices, or other operatives who require any training, or those who have completed an electrotechnical technical certificate with less than five years’ relevant industry experience. |

If you successfully complete the EWA, you will be awarded a City & Guilds Level 3 Electrotechnical Experienced Worker Qualification. This qualification will demonstrate your skills and knowledge to employers, and will help you progress your career. |
Duration |
Assuming you have completed 18th edition and level 3 Inspection and testing qualifications prior to joining this course, performance units assessments and portfolio shall be completed within 3-12 months.
